Assistant to Controller

Primary responsibilities of this individual will be to accumulate data and prepare internal management financial statements and supporting schedules on a monthly basis. This will include reconciliation of bank accounts and various balance sheet accounts, preparation and maintenance of fixed assets schedule and depreciation for corporate assets, assistance with preparation of all tax returns and various cost allocation projects. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, a strong understanding of accounting theory, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of employees and management. He or she must be highly detail oriented and able to meet assigned deadlines and be able to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from the Controller to accomplish objectives. Strong computer spreadsheet proficiency is required.

Sales Support / Marketing Coordinator

Primary responsibilities of this individual include administrative support for outside sales staff including tracking of projects in Microsoft Business Contact Manager, coordination of marketing campaigns through email and direct mail, maintaining supply of corporate gifts and literature for customers, maintaining annual Christmas cards, gifts and calendar mail outs, and assisting the President with special projects as needed. Additional responsibilities include assistance with planning corporate events such as the Offshore Technology Conference and annual Christmas party.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills. Experience with Business Contact Manager is a plus. Proficiency with all Microsoft Office products is required. This opportunity is part-time with the potential to grow to a full-time position.

Kit Assembly

The primary responsibility of this individual will be to assemble fabricated parts into various kits and other custom packages. This will include the collection of required parts, identification and processing of any non-conforming parts and any required documentation.

Machine Operator

This individual will operate machine shop equipment such as mills, lathes, grinders, extruders, and presses. He or she will set-up and operate production machinery in accordance with established procedures and guidelines to produce production parts within required tolerances. This individual will read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery as well as adjust machine settings to complete tasks according to specification, accurately and in a timely fashion.

Planner / Scheduler

The primary responsibility of this indivudal will be to provide planning and scheduling updates for the Manufacturing department. He or she will interface with supervisors to develop job orders and schedules, monitor job progress and other reporting tools to allow efficient management of designated department. This will also include developing work structure, estimating, progressing monitor schedules, forecasting "what if" scenarios, cost control, and change order management. Excellent written and verbal communication is also required for this position.

Machinist

This individual will work from engineering blueprints and/or sketches to fabricate complex parts and assemblies. He or she will utilize CNC (computer numerical controlled) equipment to produce cost effective and accurate components. This individual will also check work to conformity per Company workmanship criteria and input requirements. He or she must demonstrate good mechanical aptitude and knowledge of shop math. The ability to use precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers (inside and outside) and gauges is also a requirement.

Production Expeditor

The primary responsibility of this individual will be to monitor the flow of materials, components, tooling, and paperwork between departments to conform within production schedules. He or she will confer with supervisors to eliminate difficulties and delays and to facilitate rush orders, prepare standard progress reports, and notify a supervisor of major problems.
